Smart Cancun

We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The rooms were clean and breakfast was ok. Good value for money. The location is very good - the bus stop is almost in front of the hotel and it takes 15-20min to the Cancun hotel area. In addition there a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood as well as great street food.

Ideal for solo travellers. Easy to get picked for group excursions that you may book as saw the hotel as a pick up point frequently in Viator. Got some decent restaurants and a shopping mall nearby. The cafe in the lobby is nice, Tiramisu Frappe recommended if you like sugary cold coffee. Breakfast gets repetitive, but liked the sausage and the green juice. Room was nice too. No one picked calls when trying to contact for room service later in the night.

We stayed for one night as a transition time before heading out to Riviera Maya for the week. My rating averages at 4 because the room was a 3 but the shared spaces and pool area were all a 5. The pool area is very inviting -beautiful really- and relaxing, and common spaces were all immaculate and lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food options were pretty good. (We didn't get the breakfast as it wasn't included with our room rate, but it looked phenomenal.) The room was only okay. Ours had a strong musty odor (most likely just from the a/c being off when there weren't guests because it was better by the morning, although still present) and the shower head needed replacing. There was so much build up that the water didn't come out in a spray, but rather one single stream. The bright side is that it kind of made for a nice massage. If we had been staying longer I would have requested a change or maintenance, but for one night, it worked fine for us. I would stay here again as a decent mid-priced option in the area. The free secured parking was also a huge bonus and the location allowed us to walk to restaurants and the mall.

Just honestly incredible value! A super nice clean hotel with friendly staff and a semi-luxury feel. Granted it's not a resort or a 5-star hotel, but that's not what I was expecting or looking for. I'd highly recommend staying here for a clean and comfortable stay.

Nice place for a decent price. Pool area is very nice. The included breakfast is not to be missed. I mean it. Our waiter was Juan, he is the gold standard for friendly service. We would stay at this place again.

They have receipt bills for lavenderia one can fill out with an inventory of your clothes wanting to washed and an Oasis bag to put them in. When I asked the front desk about this service, answer was : "Oh, we do not offer this service; not sure why they put it there" hmm so just a heads up; no laundry ameneties, but the rest was ok. Misleading

I really enjoyed my stay at this city hotel( not beach hotel) for 7 days and would definitely recommend it. What I liked: Affordable price per night with an excellent breakfast. The breakfast was much better than a typical European one. There was a great variety: cooked meats, eggs, local cheese, vegetables, Mexican food, fruits, yogurt, desserts and more. Everything was fresh and tasty. Breakfast cost -USD 10 per person. Security at the hotel is excellent, and you can also leave your luggage after check-out. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. I slept very well. However, the bathroom is a bit dated. You have two ot three bottles (1,5L) of water every day. No fridge. There is an iron and an ironing board in the room. Everything is clean Swimming pool area was great, with chill music and a bar—perfect for relaxing. Beach towels are provided in the room, and you can take them to the beach and later exchange them for clean ones. Service was excellent. Thank you for your professionalism, smiles, and kindness. Special thanks to Wendy at the reception, and Belem and Diago at the bar and during the breakfast. You are incredible people. Cynthia deserves a special thank you for her excellent service and help with tours. I highly recommend buying tours from her. Location: The bus stop to the beach is close, as well as supermarkets and nice local restaurants. Tour pick-ups are near the hotel. The area feels safe, and many locals visit the nearby restaurants and Parque Las Palapas, which gives a very authentic Cancun experience. I wanted the freedom to choose where to eat—by the beach, near the mall, or near the hotel—and to visit different beaches each day. If you prefer all-inclusive options right on the beach, this isn’t the choice for you. Things to consider (may not be for everyone): My room was facing the main street, so it was often noisy from cars and tour guides calling tourists to buses early in the morning (around 7 a.m.). The hotel is not located in the hotel beach zone. To get to the beach, you need to take a taxi, which costs around USD 15- 40 and takes 20- 40 minutes, depending on which beach you choose. Uber is cheaper, but I was traveling with my daughter and preferred a city taxi near the hotel. Dolphin Beach was my favorite. You can use the city bus, which is mostly used by locals commuting to work. That was totally fine for me, and the bus ticket costs about USD 1. Overall, this is a great hotel with outstanding staff, comfort, and value for money. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel is excellent. The facilities are top notch. What is missing is the concern for guests with issues. Their tour agency, Oasis Experiences, should not be used! The staff running the operation, Alexandro, gave me inaccurate information such that I missed my tour. They doubted my frustration at their inabilities and did not want to refund the tour amount I had paid. The desk operator, Fausto, was less than helpful after I missed the tour because I was given the wrong time to meet the shuttle. He did not offer any viable alternative or go out of his way to help at all. I found my own tour & transportation. I tried to speak to hotel management but was put off several times. I finally was able to enlist the help of the front desk manager, Nash Peralis. She was initially detached stating that the tour desk wasn't part of the hotel. After explaining the tour agency was part of the hotel's services, she became somewhat helpful. I was able to finally receive a refund, NO APOLOGY from either party, but no resolution/satisfaction for the grief, additional money and HOURS spent on the issue. They just didn't care! A sad reflection of the customer service offered by this hotel. Again, do not expect help if anything goes wrong & definitely don't expect your tour to go as planned.
